Waterfront City

Waterfront City is a master-planned mixed-use community located on the 700-berth La Marina Joseph Khoury opposite the Dbayeh area of Lebanon, and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Masterplan

Overview

The guiding principles relative to the master planning of Waterfront City are heavily guided towards linear movement within the site.

The focus on streetscape environments greatly increases the aesthetic quality of the public and common areas of the property. In doing this, we emphasize a community spirit and focus on the creation of a safe and lively neighborhood. The existing street grid is augmented with new landscaping, pedestrian walkways and enhanced public parks. These elements help to instigate a sense of family-friendly community.

This combination of new streetscapes and parks creates a series of greenways that link the entire mixed-use community to the heart of the development, which is The Promenade full of retail offerings and active health club facilities.

Joseph G. Khoury, the founder of SOCIÉTÉ JOSEPH G. KHOURY & FILS HOLDING SAL, is a longtime contractor.

Joseph G. Khoury, the founder of Société Joseph G. Khoury & Fils Holding SAL, has been a long time contractor and pioneer. Since first creating the Société Nationale d’Entreprises in 1965, Joseph G. Khoury was embarking on the long fruitful road of a master-builder, passionate of perfection and work well-done.

Under his directorship the Société Nationale d’Entreprises has executed a multitude of projects in Lebanon and the Arab World in many diversified fields. This work was crowned by the project Reclamation and Development of the “Littoral Nord”, consisting of approx. 2,600 linear meters of coast line and a total area of 1,003,000 m².
